Cookie Preferences
What cookies Klaro uses and how to control them.
Last revised: 2026-05-04
What's currently in use
Klaro uses only strictly-necessary cookies — small identifiers we set on your device to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. Without them, the app can't remember who you are between page loads. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers.
- authjs.session-token — your signed session cookie. HTTP-only, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Lifetime: until you sign out or 30 days, whichever comes first.
- authjs.csrf-token — a CSRF guard issued by NextAuth. HTTP-only, Secure, session-scoped.
- klaro:cookie-consent — a localStorage flag (not a cookie strictly speaking) used to remember that you've seen the cookie banner.
Why there's nothing to opt out of
Klaro currently runs zero non-essential trackers. There's nothing to toggle on or off. If we ever add product analytics, performance trackers, or marketing pixels, we'll convert this page into a real preferences panel and ask for your consent before any of them load.
Third-party cookies during checkout
When you start a checkout flow, our payment processor (Razorpay or Stripe) may set their own cookies on theklaro.com solely for fraud prevention. These are considered strictly necessary for processing the payment you initiated and are governed by the processor's own privacy and cookie policies.

Updates
When we change what cookies we use, we'll update this page and re-show the consent banner so you can review and decide again.
